Flowers collected in the morning; diameter 35-42 mm, length 37-40 mm, stigma lobe number 4, light yellow; outer perianth yellow with pink mid-stripe, inner perianth golden to red at base; joints gray-green or bluish gray-green with tubercules; spines gray on older joints, golden or tan on new joints; fruit dry, light brown, diameter 15-20 mm, length 30-45 mm; seeds tan or gray; stems and fruit collected 24 Septmeber 2002 and 4 May 1999 by Joni Ward.
