Fr oblong-ovoid, flattened laterally, tipped by the 2 conspicuous stylopodia; ribs slender, inconspicuous, 5 per mericarp; styles conspicuous, reflexed, 1.5 mm; oil- tubes none; carpophore ±bifid; umbels long-peduncled, terminal and lateral; invol usually none; rays numerous, ascending; involucel none; pedicels many, short; sep obsolete; pet white; rhizomatous perennials with ternately once or twice compound lvs and large serrate lfls. 7, temp.
