There's a georeferencing error for this and other "Whitewater Canyon" collections. Contrary to the place names in USGS topographic maps, "Whitewater Canyon" in usage almost always means the canyon of Whitewater Creek, northeast of Glenwood in the northwestern Mogollon Mountains, and not the Whitewater Canyon through which Taylor Creek flows northeast of Wall Lake on the northwest side of the Black Range. The latter canyon is not often visited. In ambiguous cases, like this one, you can usually verify that the Whitewater Canyon northeast of Glenwood is the one meant by checking the collector's immediately prior & subsequent collections. Martin made many collections on the same date mentioning Glenwood, the Mogollon Mountains, and so on.
