Canyon bottom and adjacent northerly slopes. Local slopes with chaparral elements, and localized oak woodland on old-formation benches. forming clumps amid boulders in the stream and on the bank.
Dominants included Quercus agrifolia, Q. wislizeni, Q. john-tuckeri, Prunus ilicifolia, Amorpha californica, Rhamnus ilicifolia, Lonicera interrupta, Eriodictyon crassifolium var. nigrescens, Artemisia dracunculus, and Phacelia ramosissima.
