Habitat: Pinyon-oak woodland along seasonal and spring-fed drainage.
Associated Species: Pinus discolor, Quercus hypoleucoides, Quercus emoryi, Rhus aromatica, Juniperus deppeana, Nolina microcarpa, Garrya wrightii, Mimosa aculeaticarpa var. biuncifera, Guardiola platyphylla, Opuntia engelmannii, Baccharis thesioides, Muhlenbergia rigens, Schizachyrium sanguineum var. hirtiflorum, Bouteloua curtipendula, Tephrosia tenella.
Description: Annual forb; disk flowers yellow, ray flowers white; scent of licorice when rubbed.
