Associated Species: Rabbitbrush, greaswood, indian rice-grass, horsebush.
Description: Flowers irregular, papilionaceous, stamens monadelphous with 5 long filaments alternating with 5 short filaments. Leaves palmately compound. Plant perennial, not glandular-dotted, not caespitose. Racemes much long than 4 cm when in flower. Basal leaves lacking, petioles mostly less than 8cm long. Leaves commonly folded.
