Fen dominated by Carex stricta and Typha. Many Cornus and Toxicodendron vernix shrubs too. The ground is hummocky and wet. There is a lake at the center. The fen is surrounded mostly by trees and forest swamp or upland. In shrub zone of the northwest part of fen 200m east of western border. Carex with shrub layer of mostly Cornus. Ground tussocky and moist.
Population - Clumped, not common. A few sprouts in area, 1-2 per 1m2 for 40m2.
