Lake side prairie fen. Mostly Cyperaceae, Cornus, and button bush dominated marl zone with some Asteraceae and Dasiphora fruticosa near the wooded borders. Invaded by Phragmites, Phalaris arundinacea, and Frangula alnus. In northern section of fen, 150m west of Mt Hope Road, 5m into Salix thicket, 100m south of northern border (stream). Carex and Dasiphora fruticosa meadow encroached by Salix and Cornus. Ground hummocky and moist to wet.
Population - Occasional in area. Branching out but no buds. Up to 80cm tall.
