Fen on county and private land and managed by The Nature Conservancy. Grand River travels through center of fen (4m wide). Near river area dominated by Cyperaceae, Typha, and Dasiphora fruticosa; shrubs of Rubus and Cornus near woodland upland edges. Near center of prairie fen, 25m south of Grand River, 5m east of north-south tributary. Area dominated by Typha, Phalaris arundinacea, and Carex stricta. Standing water between hummocks.
Population - Common, less than 20cm tall. Growing on hummocks, no fruits or flowers.
