Inundated and dominated by Typha latifolia and Carex stricta. Located at west end of fen, area is farily diverse, but appears stressed. Dasiphora fruticosa present but dying. Mentha canadensis and Verbena hastata very common. Typha angustifolia and Phragmites australis invaded wooded fen in southern portion of fen. Dasiphora fruticosa, Pycnanthemum virginicum, Toxicodendron vernix, and Larix laricina are common along with many other species including Lythrum salicaria, Rubus pubescens, Eutrochium maculatum, and Campanula aparinoides. Ground hummocky and wet.
