Large north-south fen; multiple ownser; many arms; large expanses of Carex stricta. Fen elongated and amoeboid with many small armas and large amounts of edge. Oak uplands often inserted intro prairie fen as peninsulas. Oftern large amounts of open water due to beaver flooding. Asjacent to railroad that runs the entire length of the fen. Carex stricta/Eutrochium maculatum area witching Toxicodendron vernix/Larix laricina wooded fen. Other species include Cornus foemina, Bromus ciliatus, Solidago patula, Typha latifolia, Eupatorium perfoliatum, and Carex lacustris. Just west of original point by about 40m due to non-prairie fen and flooding.
