Large north-south fen; multiple ownser; many arms; large expanses of Carex stricta. Fen elongated and amoeboid with many small armas and large amounts of edge. Oak uplands often inserted intro prairie fen as peninsulas. Oftern large amounts of open water due to beaver flooding. Asjacent to railroad that runs the entire length of the fen. Previously high quality area now inundated; now with some loss of quality of species; however still fairly healthy. Common species include Solidago altissima, Thelypteris palustris, Thalictrum dasycarpum, Liatris spicata, Andropogon gerardii, and Schoenoplectus pungens.
