The fen is less than 30 acres surrounding the lake. There are shruby patches of Cornus, Toxicodendron vernix, birch, and aspen, and large patches of Typha and Phragmites. There are many streams 1m wide, one larger one on the north side of the stream. Evidence of maintenence with burn piles and woody cuttings. 100-125m to southern fen border and 75-90m from western border in the middle of a Typha, Rhamnaceae, Toxicodendron vernix stand. Some Thelypteris palustris and Carex present too. No standing water but puddles in steps. Walked through some brush piles and old burn piles.
Population - Clumped, found on moist to wet soil near Typha, Rhamnus, and ferns. Weedy individuals.
