A railroad (currently used andmaintained), runs almost the entire length. Within 20m on either side of the tracks is almost all herbaceous (weedy but diverse). Further from tracks there are many tamarack trees and shrubs including some autumn olive. 80m north of railroad tracks, 50m south of Chilson Road. Ground hummocky and moist, dominated by Carex with Betula pumila, Typha, and tamarack.
Population - Most under 1m. No flowers, no fruits. Browsed.
