Shallow pond bordered by Carex aquatilis, C. canescens, Erigeron peregrinus & wet meadow plants, Clementsia rhodantha, Veronica nutans, Juncus mertensianus, Ranunculus alismaefolius, C. nigricans, Calamagrostis canadensis, Pedicularis groenlandica. Plants in fine silt, blanketing pond bottom & coated w/ algae; abundant in 2 of 3 ponds near largest Williams lake. Substrate derived of Tertiary volcanics.
