Habitat: Riparian area & seeps from crevices in igneous rock face of canyon wall. Associates include Salix gooddingii, Cephalanthus, Junglans microcarpa, Tecoma stans, Brickellia, Perityle dissecta, Mimulus dentilobus, and small frogs. Perennial. Flts all yellow. Common.
Reproductive Condition: flowering + fruiting=mid
