Small fen dominated by Carex. Several shrub zones of Cornus and a large wooded zone of Tamarack, Cornus, and poplur. Autumn olive encroaching on edges and some within fen on northern side. Nirdlingers maintain surrounding prairie. Homeowner to north manacures land in the lawn fashion to the edge of his property. Carex meadow for a few 100m in any direction, wooded area about 200m north, Typha stand 100m to the east. Ground hummocky and water puddles where there isn't standing water.
Clumped, 5-7 individuals per 1m2 area for 50m2. Found near Carex and marsh fern on extremely moist - slightly wet soil.
