A railroad (currently used andmaintained), runs almost the entire length. Within 20m on either side of the tracks is almost all herbaceous (weedy but diverse). Further from tracks there are many tamarack trees and shrubs including some autumn olive. 3m east of railroad in herbaceous roadside vegetation. Super diverse with Carex, Asteraceae, Apiaceae, Thelypteris palustris, Cornus, Asclepias, and more. Ground moist but not wet.
Population - clumped, very common along railroad and Larix laricina trees, found on somewhat moist soil near Asclepias, Thelypteris palustris, and asters.
