Strange specimen with yellowish capitate glands adaxially but no white farina abaxially. FNA: "Plants with yellow farina reported from Arizona, Nevada, and Utah may represent tetraploid hybrids between P. triangularis subsp. triangularis and P. triangularis subsp. maxonii and are not mapped herein."; J.
